STOP PROCRASTINATING AND DO IT NOW.
Many of us are confuse of what we feel, what we dream, what we think, how our thought flows, how deeply we caged our emotions, and how our expression are to be made known. Little did we know that Time wait for no one, absolutely no one.
Prince E_A said and I quote that, Recent research has shown that 7/10 of older men on the sick bed has similar regret which is "not doing what they had in mind, not taking the risk of enjoying the moment until it slips away gently and calmly like the breeze that flows on the ocean bank".
Only few search and seek the beautiful power that lies in the "Now" because it holds a powerful key to a beautiful beginning of moments that never end.
I remember how I let a beautiful young lady I had emotions for, gently went away. I was busy waiting for the right moment, the right location, the right mood. I never for a moment understood the fact that the right moment lies underneath the pillow of "Now" until the moment cat walked out of my sight right there with my two eyes widely opened.
What are your plans?
What is keeping you from enjoying what nature have in stock for you that lies understand the beautiful moment of "Now"?
What is it that you are procrastinating?
Oh!, Let me take you back to what procrastination is.
It is the act of Postponing, delaying or Putting off, especially habitually or intentionally.
We are all guilty of procrastinating at some point. No one is a stranger to it. Some of us might be lucky enough to identify it in time and still do something about it. Unfortunately for others, it steals dreams and even destroy lives.
The reason we procrastinate varies from person to person and is not always obvious. Sometimes it is a hidden fear that we don’t want to acknowledge, or it could even be as simple as not wanting to do something because it just doesn’t motivate us.
Whatever the reason may be, if you know you are a procrastinator, be careful: it has far more damaging effects than you may realize.
Here are some reasons procrastination can destroy lives:
*You will lose your precious time*
The worst thing about procrastinating is the moment you realize that you are ten, twenty, thirty years older and nothing has changed. Where did all the time go?
This is a terrible feeling because you can’t turn back the hands of time, you just have to live with the helpless feeling of Regret and frustration.
*You will blow opportunities*
What you don’t realize is that opportunity dance with those that are ready to dance with it. Most opportunities only come around once; you are never guaranteed a second chance.
*You could ruin your career*
The way you work directly affects your results, how much you achieve and how well you perform.
Perhaps procrastination prevents you from meeting deadlines.
*You will lower your self-esteem*
This is one of the vicious circles you might find yourself in. We tend to procrastinate sometimes because of a low self-esteem, but procrastinating doesn’t only reinforce this, it makes it even lower.
You start to doubt and question what is wrong with you. You might desperately ask yourself, “Why can’t I just do it?" Procrastination eats away confidence, slowly but surely.
If this resonates with you, focus on building your self-esteem instead of holding on to the illusions.
*You will damage your reputation*
When you keep saying you will do something and you don’t, your reputation inevitably gets tarnished. Nobody wants empty promises.
*You will make poor decisions*
*NOTE*
Remember that procrastination is like a habit, it is really hard to start, but it can break you!
Don't lose your precious moment that lies in amazing amazon of "Now" just because of what Fear, Anxiety, Stress, sits in your mind. Enjoy every moment that passes, let your body feel every breathe underneath every breeze that flows around you. Welcome every brightness of each day with laughter because tomorrow might be too late.
NOW is what you have, NOW is what I have, NOW IS ALL WE HAVE.
